The first step to look at is the design of Oppo F17 Pro. It comprises of a glass sandwich design with 3D curved metallic frame. This smartphone comes in three colors - Magic Blue, Matte Black, Metallic White.
Oppo F17 Pro has 6.43" AMOLED display which is surrounded by thin bezels to keep the phone's weight at around 164g. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
This phone is one of the few devices to be powered by a massive 4015mAh battery in this price range. It's an Oppo phone so you would expect fast charging but just like it's predecessor Oppo F7 we were disappointed with Oppo F17 pro due to no fast charging technology.
Oppo F17 Pro doesn't come with Snapdragon 710 SoC or even SD710 rather it is powered by Helio P95. The performance of Oppo F17 Pro is just average just like Samsung Galaxy J8 2018.
This phone is packed with dual front and rear cameras. So it has a 16MP + 2MP dual selfie camera, 48MP primary camera and a 8MP + two 2MP depth cameras as secondary. The Oppo F17 Pro has a depth enabled camera which can blur background photos in portrait mode like iPhone X.
Gaming on Oppo F17 Pro is an average experience due to Helio P95 SoC which lacks Snapdragon 710 GPU.
If you are looking for a stylish smartphone with a large display, big battery and dual camera Oppo F17 Pro is the phone for you. But if you are looking for a better performing smartphone in mid-range price range with Snapdragon 710 SoC then you should check out Xiaomi Poco F1.
