Oppo Reno2 F Review

How big are your hands? If you have small hands, holding the Reno 2F might be tough. Its screen stretches 6.5 inches across. On its front, you’re getting an AMOLED panel. It’s super vibrant.

It’s big. But it’s sadly also thick. Its dimensions are 6.39 in x 2.98 in x 0.34 in (162.4 x 75.8 x 8.7 mm). It’s heavy – you’re looking at a 195-gram mobile. The fact that it’s heavy and thick makes it brick-like.

What is it made from? Gorilla Glass 5 and aluminum. The glass is super tough, so good luck scratching it. That being said, it collects a lot of fingerprints. The aluminum frame makes it a bit slippery too.

The colours you can pick it up in are Lake Green and Sky White. It’s not every day that you see a green phone. There’s a pearl-like finish on both colour options.

There’s a good screen-to-body ratio, which is why there’s barely any bezel action going on. It’s 85.1%. Its display is pretty sharp too – you’re getting 1080 x 2340 pixels.

You don’t have to worry about denting its display. There’s Gorilla Glass 5 on its front.

Looking across its sides, you’ll find a 3.5 mm headphone jack and microSD slot. No, there’s no fingerprint sensor on its rear or sides. It comes with one under its display and is pretty snappy.

Out of the box, it runs Android 9. Yes, you can upgrade it to Android 10. It’s run through ColorOS 6.1; it’s known to be quite customizable.

The Helio P70 is inside it. It’s a processor that’s flagship-worthy. The fact that it comes with a lot of RAM and ROM makes using it even smoother. You can purchase it with either 128 or 256 GB of space, and 6 or 8 GB of memory.

The battery inside it is 4000 mAh. You can expect it fully drain in a day and a half. No, its battery is nonremovable. You’ll be plugging a 20 W fast charger into its USB-C port. Thanks to VOOC 3.0, it’ll go from 0-50% in half an hour.

It comes with a quad-camera set-up. It consists of a 48 MP wide primary lens, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, a 2 MP B/W sensor, and a 2 MP depth sensor. It takes good shots even in low light settings. You might have noticed the absence of a notch for a selfie camera. That’s because its front shooter is motorized. It pops up smoothly and consists of a 16 MP wide lens.

How does it selfie camera do? It’ll take pictures that keep you social media-ready.

Here’s what you came for:

Its price is around Rs.75,000 islandwide. It’s definitely on the higher side of the spectrum but is still not as expensive as other flagships.
